Know the Real Me

Ciao to all. I am Rea Jeanica S. Sabijon. I am 13 years of age. Our very own house is situated in Villa Leyson, Bacayan, Cebu City. I was born on August 16, 1993 in Perpetual Succor Hospital. I am the second angel of Dioscoro P. Sabijon and Ida S. Sabijon. By the way, I have a brother named Niño Rico S. Sabijon. He is currently studying in the University of Cebu. He is now on his second year in college taking up Civil Engineering just like my father. Speaking of father, my father is Dioscoro P. Sabijon. He is a Project Manager of Pacific Land Venture. He graduated as a Civil Engineer in the University of San Jose Recoletos. In the other hand, my mother is Ida S. Sabijon, a plain housewife. She also graduated in San Jose Recoletos just like my father but not as a Civil Engineer but as a Chemical Engineer. Amazing, isn’t it? They are all engineers.
Now, let us talk about me. I am now a first year high school student in the University of the Philippines in Cebu. Before I tell you more about me, I will tell you right away that I am somewhat “weird”. So don’t be mystified if why I am like this.
Many of my classmates now, say that I am very childish. They often question me about that. However, I will just disregard them. I won’t even have any violent reactions because it is definitely true. That is my natural mind-set. I use to be like that since I am the youngest and they treat me as a baby in our domicile. That is the reason why some people deceive me. They just minimally thought, “That girl is just a kid, we can fool that anytime”. In their naked eye, they can portray me like that but they still don’t know the “real” me. Well, they can do that, but they don’t know that I also know how to deal with them. If they can fool me, why can’t I? I also know how to fight back and defend myself. This so-called “childish” also have her heart and mind. Has heart that gets hurt and mind that can meditate decisions on her. So, don’t judge a book by its cover.
Enough on that, change topic please. Let us talk about academics. In school, my favorite subject is Science. I like this subject because it is very interesting. I still like it in spite of all the words to be memorized. In the other hand, the subject that I like least is Math. I didn’t inherit my parents’ capacity in that subject. That is why I have no plan to take up an Engineering Course. More things to know about me are my hobbies. First, I am fun of playing badminton. Nevertheless, I will not talk more about it. You can read more about badminton in my life in my next entry. Another thing that I like most is collecting CDs of Scooby Doo and the Mystery Inc. That is favorite cartoon character. I also like HSM or High School Musical. In the other hand, I am also a music-lover. I can also sing a little bit. My voice is only for our comfort room and not for public places. I am sometimes shy. Another topic to go. I am friendly. If truth were told, back in my elementary years, I have many associates in the other sections. I intermingle with them than my own classmates. That is the basis why my classmates will become annoyed on me. However, I just ignore them and carry on interacting with those people outside our classroom. I also somewhat understand. Understand people around me. Sometimes, some of my friends rely on me and in return, I rely on them. Well, that’s I!
